Hi, Friends! I'm Miss Kat and this is, you guessed it, Penny! We are both so happy you're here!
I've been a gutsy girl for almost half of my life. This blog started as a way for me to share my celiac story with the world in an effort to help make living with celiac a little easier for the next person. So much life has happened since so there is a constant evolution. I hope to be transparent about all of it so I can be a resource for my readers to learn from my holistic journey to health and happiness both because of, and despite celiac disease.
I'm a rescue pet mama, biologist, preschool teacher, kiddos yoga and nutrition instructor, vehicle detail business owner, little bit hippy, lotta bit yogi, and 100% car girl. I love to read, cook, eat, make jewelry, and play with oils and rocks. You will find all of that and also a little bit of lots of other things here: gluten & dairy free recipes, gutsy girl rantings & ravings, happy & sad body image moments, gluten free beauty products, essential oils, crystal healing, classroom happenings, gluten free adventures, travel stories, and my journey to finding my self and loving her!
I love spending time at home; in my hammock, in my garage, or in my kitchen, most likely with a dog cuddled right next to me and a cup of tea or glass of red wine close by too. Otherwise you can probably find me in my classroom, on my yoga mat, or somewhere on a beach! But regardless of where I am, please don't hesitate to reach out to me! I love making new friends!
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you find something that resonates with you!
